TruNorth was an absolute perfect experience, start to finish. I could not recommend more. They helped make sure the system was designed well, and that we understood. We even wanted to make a change after they had started work, and they were perfectly happy to do so. They followed up even after everything had been installed and paid for and working for awhile to make sure I was still happy with it. I love my solar system, and have for about three years already. Still very happy, and glad we did it!

They did a thorough assessment of the best placement of the panels and how many panels were needed to provide 100% of our current usage. They also came up with a solution to how best to tie-in with our existing electrical panel, without any disruptive trenching.

TruNorth Solar installed my solar a couple years back now. I'm writing today as my home is still NET ZERO carbon use with my electricity. I've also saved thousands of dollars so far since I have no electric bill most of the year!
NOTE: That's with 5 people in the home btw!

Another key factor in my recommendation was how TruNorth treated me post my installation. TruNorth sent a crew out months later to remount ALL my panels to optimize the drainage into my new gutter system. I'm sure they didn't make much money on my system, but they really care about taking care of the customer over the long haul...

We have had a very positive experience with TruNorth solar8 years ago when they installed 30 ground mount panels and they have performed as expected. We recently installed battery back and the installation was seamless. When the electric inspector came to inspect the job he pretty much commented that if TruNorth did the install he has nothing to worry about because there jobs are always done correctly. When the inspector says something like that I can only feel that I have been working with a great company, so much so I will be having them install one more system with battery back up.

I got bids from four companies before choosing TruNorth Solar. Their solar consultant, T.J., did the best job discussing what I wanted and advising on different scenarios. There was no pressure during the sales process. TruNorth was the only company to include a list of references with their formal proposal, and T.J. invited me to their facility in Arden Hills. I met the company founder/CEO and their Operations Director, and I got to see what the panels and inverter looked like. The approvals and installation all went smoothly and ahead of the promised schedule, and communication was excellent throughout the process. The system has produced as quoted, performing slightly better than estimate over the past two years. I highly recommend TruNorth!
