Dealing with the company, TruNorth Solar, has always been a positive experience. All the staff members that I've dealt with over the past 3 years have been professional, efficient, concerened that all my concerns have been taken care of and concerned that I am a satisfied customer. I recently was in communication with Alex Poster. He was willing to stop by to help me with some concerns about how I can better use the app to view that grid charging is enabled...and of course that lead to my thinking of other questions that Alex was will and able to answer. I always like the follow up email that Alex - as well as other staff - sends that summarizes what concerns were addressed and if needed a summary of what concerns/questions need further investigation. TruNorth is the company that I ALWAYS recommend when people ask about my solar experience.

After getting bids from six different solar installation companies, we chose TruNorth Solar and am extremely pleased with the outcome. They did a great job explaining the process and then did what they said they were going to do. Everything turned out great and the communication from them was excellent. Even the city inspector mentioned that they rarely have any issues when TruNorth does the solar installation.

We just turned on our solar system and it is working great and looking good. The whole experience has been an enjoyable one. The first meetings with TJ, explaining the process and providing excellent information and answering all our questions. Once we signed up for the project, we were informed about all the stages and received updates when it moved to a next stage. Any permitting and application documents that needed to be completed or signed were either taken care of by TruNorth or we were reminded that they were available for us to complete and sign. Alex reached out several times about the planning and was available for questions during the installation process. TruNorth handled the inspection with the City and Xcell Energy, and both Alex and TJ were present when we had the go ahead and turned the system on. They even brought a few presents. All in all a great experience, excellent communication and very smooth process. Now we are producing and saving money.

After interviewing nearly every major solar installer in the state, we selected TruNorth. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. They kept us posted every step of the way and were one of the more competitive bids we received on our system. They worked with us to get a Franklin battery installed before it was a more common option. I’d recommend anyone looking into getting solar to at minimum get a bid from these folks. They have great follow through and won’t continue to hassle you with additional sales calls if you decide to go another direction.

Super professional and great installer. Would recommend/do again. Sales staff was on point getting after my concerns/needs. Engineering team developed an actionable plan satisfactory to Xcel/municipalities. Install team did a fantastic job with my trades buddies complimenting the install. Inspections went off without a hitch all the way to PTO. Thanks guys.

From start to finish the process went incredibly smooth. They recommended a great roofing company that worked out well for us also. Solar install itself went smooth - we passed inspection with no issues. All the staff seemed knowledgeable, work went quickly, and we were updated regularly. They were also friendly (including learning our dogs names, putting pet friendly salt down outside) and kept the house/work areas clean. Overall it was an easy process and we would recommend TruNorth Solar in a heart beat. Our system is projected to get around 105% of our energy needs based on their research and the idea of getting a check from the energy company instead of a bill delights me.

TruNorth was an absolute perfect experience, start to finish. I could not recommend more. They helped make sure the system was designed well, and that we understood. We even wanted to make a change after they had started work, and they were perfectly happy to do so. They followed up even after everything had been installed and paid for and working for awhile to make sure I was still happy with it. I love my solar system, and have for about three years already. Still very happy, and glad we did it!

We wanted to install roof-top solar panels on our home and chose TruNorth Solar for the project. The entire TruNorth team exceeded our expectations! They did a thorough assessment of the best placement of the panels and how many panels were needed to provide 100% of our current usage. They also came up with a solution to how best to tie-in with our existing electrical panel, without any disruptive trenching. Installation went very smoothly, and their follow-up expertise is much appreciated. More recently we contracted with TruNorth to come back and install our EV charger.
