Shakopee Public Utilities no longer offers an incentive
Speak with your solar consultant about other financial rewards with solar projects
Shakopee Public Utilities no longer offers a specific incentive for their customers. However, the Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) may still be available to you. Even without utility-level solar incentives, many solar projects are still financially rewarding. Talk to your solar consultant to learn more.
The Shakopee Public Utility Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program provides a pool of incentives for Moorhead Public Service Utility customers installing residential solar panels or small commercial solar installations.
The solar power incentive is linked to the amount of solar energy produced over 10 years by the solar panel installation, so the more you produce, the more rebate you receive.
This Energy Efficiency Rebate Incentive is designed to spur more Shakopee Utilities commercial customers to install solar panel arrays on their home.
It is independent from ‘net metering,’ in which excess electricity generated by a home’s solar panel array is fed back into the grid and is purchased by Shakopee Public Utility.
