To celebrate reaching 1 million Powerwalls installed, and aiming to make home energy storage more accessible, Tesla’s “Next Million Powerwall Rebate” offers up to $1,000 back for purchasing and installing a Powerwall 3 battery or expansion units.

This rebate is valid for orders placed Nov 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, and installed between Jan. 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026. And, the rebate can be combined with other solar and storage incentives for savings on energy storage!
Rebate Details for Battery Storage:
- Amount: $500 per Powerwall 3/Expansion, up to $1,000 total (2 units)
- Models: Powerwall 3 & Powerwall 3 Expansion
- Order Window: November 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026
- Installation Window: January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
- Reward: Virtual Visa® Reward Card
- Combine: Can be stacked with federal, state, and local incentives
How to Claim:
- Order: Place your Powerwall 3 order with Tesla or a Certified Installer within the window.
- Register: Register for the rebate on Tesla’s portal by June 30, 2026.
- Install: Get your system installed, connected, and registered by December 31, 2026.
- Submit Claim: Submit the final request via the portal by the installation deadline.
